BIZARRE; Soldier steals his friend’s car, a day after his dismissal for robbery

You think you know bizarre? Read this.

The Oyo State Police Command has arrested Obadiah Ayuba, a dismissed soldier, for stealing his friend’s car in Ibadan. Ayuba was dismissed by the Nigerian Army after a series of unprofessional actions, including robbery and absconding from duty.

The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, said Ayuba fled with the car and was arrested five days after. He committed the crime a day after he was dismissed from the Nigerian Army.

Ayuba said he had gone to a night club in Ibadan with his friend, Abubakar, on June 15, 2017 and that after he (Abubakar) told him to drop a female friend, he decided to abscond with the car.

Ayuba said, “We went to a night club and left around 3am. He said he wanted to see his mechanic, who was repairing a vehicle for him. We headed to my friend’s mechanic workshop and decided to sleep in the car until morning.

He later left me and a female friend of his in the car while he went to see the mechanic. When the lady was complaining, I called him and explained to him that she wanted to go home.

He told me to help drop her at home and I did so. That was how I absconded with the car. I used it as taxi to earn some money. When I was arrested, some passengers were in the car. I served at the 81 Batallion, Mokola, Ibadan before I was dismissed on June 14, 2017 after a court martial.”

Just early this week, a news spread around about the death of a rising Comedian Chinedu Paul (a.k.a. MC Think Twice), who was killed by a mob in Ikorodu claiming he is a member of the deadly gang Badoo.
As the family and friends are  preparing to hold a memorial service  for him, one of his friend with Instagram handle @lawaldolapo, took to her Instagram page to show her grevience about the incident and about the fact that nothing has been done to bring her friend justice.

Read what she said below;

Yea, maybe most of my followers aren’t comedians but I know a couple of you are OAPs, VJs, social media celebrities, activist, movie directors, person know person and even comedians.

Another friend of late Chinedu Paul who also a fast rising Comedian MC Princewill also joined his voice with @lawaldolapo as he pleaded with the Nigeria’s comedy industry “leaders” and the state government of Lagos to bring justice for late Paul.

He had this to say;

Young criminals; Teenagers arraigned for murder of ex-Naval officer

You know those kinds of news you read or hear that makes you want to weap for the future of the generation coming? Exactly, this is one of them.
Ogun Police Command on Thursday, July 6, arraigned five suspected killers of ex-Naval officer, Chief Moses Akanni Famuyiwa, before a Magistrate’s Court in Ifo, Ogun State.

The suspects namely Dare Abiodun (19), Femi Ayinla (17), Aliami Akinlotan (18), Jamiu Akewe (19), and Gbenga Ojo (20); were arraigned on a three-count charge of felony, armed robbery, and murder.

Famuyiwa, who was until his death, the chief Executive Officer of MAF 44 Gardens and Event Centre, was killed by the suspects and others at large on June 14, 2017.

They conspired to rob the 73-year-old deceased of the sum of N500,000.00 in his apartment in Arigbajo and he was in the process stabbed to death.

When the case came up yesterday before the presiding Magistrate, Miss S. Titi Bello, after the charge was read, the IPO, Inspector Nike Oyinlola told the court that the main mastermind of the act, Dare Abiodun, had exonerated the four other suspects, claiming that his cohorts were at large.

During a cross-examination, Dare Abiodun said Femi Ayinla, Aliami Akinlotan and Jamiu Akewe were his friends but were not part of the robbery operation.

He added that when the police thoroughly tortured him with gunshot wound on his ankle and that was when he took the police to his friends’ houses, where they were apprehended.

He noted that he had not met Gbenga Ojo before but was forced to point at him so that the police would set him free. Bello, however, lashed out at the police for still keeping Gbenga Ojo, who the suspect said he did not know me.

In their defence, the prosecutor, Sergeant Olumide Awoleke, who also buttressed Dare Abiodun’s confession said if the police had released those exonerated, the family would not have believed that they were not bribed. The magistrate adjourned the case to November 3, 2017

“4:44” That the message is always bigger than the messenger – Mavin Sapp

The gospel muscian Mavin Sapp took to his Instagram page to share a piece of his mind about Jay Z’s “4:44” album which has already gone platnum before release.
He said;

#TransparentConversation  #MyPersonalOpinion I was asked a question the other day that I wanted to address via social media. Here’s the question, “Jay-Z’s album went platinum and it hasn’t even been released to the masses yet! It went certified platinum just on tidal!! Coming to apple and all other outlets next week!!! What is that saying?” My response, “The world supports its own.” Not one supporter of Jay-Z (Believer or Non Believer) questions his lifestyle, beliefs or commitment to his wife. They know that the messenger is flawed but they support his message to the tune of 1 million sale and it hasn’t been release to the masses yet. I believe the world gets what believers still don’t or refuse to understand. #myopinionon That the message is always bigger than the messenger. Believers won’t buy gospel music of some artist because of their presumed flaws and questionable life. Making them (the artist) bigger than the message of Christ and in doing so silencing this great gospel message musically and slowly but surely putting this industry of gospel music on life support that has the ability to impact the masses. #AgainMyOpinion One day I pray that we all drop our rocks and remember that everyone and I mean everyone that God used in scripture was flawed and or had issues that wasn’t Jesus Christ and thats why we needed his redemptive work in our lives. However even with their flaws and all God used them to deliver a message of hope and healing. Support the Message of gospel music and let’s keep it alive.

Remember the “Rob – Chyna” porn video saga? Yeah! It didn’t end there as Chyna has filed for restraining order against Rob and may also sue him for porn revenge.

Blac Chyna has taken legal measures against Rob Kardashian after he leaked her nude photos to spite her for allegedly cheating on her. Writing on her Twitter moments ago, Lisa Bloom, a famous lawyer and NYT bestselling author, revealed that she is currently representing Chyna.

“I represent Blac Chyna. I just gave Rob Kardashian notice that we’ll be in court Monday seeking restraining orders against him,” said Bloom, who adds that she will be giving out more information about the ongoing case later.

Also, the lawyer revealed that Kardashian may have committed the crime of revenge porn which is punishable by the law of the state of California where he and Chyna are currently resident.

This Air hostess got fired for falling down on duty

If you’ve ever read or heard strange news, this is definitely on another level.

After being sacked by Fly Emirates before her completion of the course at the Emirates Aviation College, a young air hostess has revealed the shocking reason why they sacked her.

A former Emirates air hostess claims she was sacked by the exclusive airline simply because she fell down a flight of stairs, while wearing a pair of high heels on the job, Dailymail has reported.

The woman identified as Ciara Burke thought she had landed her dream job when she was invited to join the carrier’s ‘Emirates Aviation College’ from among a host of international applicants.

But the 23-year-old from Perth, Western Australia, claims she soon learnt life behind the scenes isn’t quite the same as what the airline portrays for First Class customers.

In fact Ms Burke has lashed Emirates, claiming they sacked her just days before she was set to graduate into a full flight attendant, all because of a heavy fall left her in a moon boot and unable to complete her intensive training.

NOUN graduates now eligible for Law School and NYSC

Here is a good news to everyone intending to school in the National Open University.

Students who graduate from the National Open University of Nigeria can now go for the one year compulsory National Youth Service Corps observed by graduates. NOUN graduates are now also eligible to go to Law School after graduating.

The senate, at its sitting on Thursday, amended the National Open University of Nigeria Act which had previously hindered graduates of the university from attending the Nigerian Law school and observing the one-year compulsory NYSC.

The senate resolution was a culmination of the efforts of the senate committee on tertiary institutions and Tetfund, chaired by Jubril Barau, senator representing Kano north constituency.

Before now, there had been agitations among NOUN students for their inclusion in the NYSC and one year Nigerian Law School program. An ongoing case on the matter is scheduled for hearing on Thursday at the federal high court in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

“It’s Like Sen. Adeleke’s Death Has Made Davido’s Father Run Mad” – Aregbesola

Ok, in case you feel lost, this us basically about “The State of Osun” policts. Alot have being happening since the death of  Davido’s uncle’s and this is one of them.

The Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has said Dr. Deji Adeleke may have gone mad because of the death of his brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

Aregbesola said this in Ede yesterday at the campaign of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Osun West Senatorial District by-election holding on Saturday.

The governor’s vituperation was in reaction to allegation that he owed Deji Adeleke money. But Aregbesola said he did not borrow any money from Deji at anytime, saying it was the Adelekes that had been collecting money from him.

He said, “Deji Adeleke is a business man, he is not a politician but it is like his brother’s death has run him mad.” (O dabi pe iku egbon e ti da lori ru). It is a lie that I borrowed money from Deji.

It is to the glory of God that they got the Certificate of Occupancy of their university from our government. Why didn’t those who are their new friends give them C of O of that university?

If Deji Adeleke had so much money, why did he beg me to waive the payable tax of his university? Why couldn’t he just pay? I am bold enough to say this over and over again, because I have never sought assistance from any member of the Adeleke family, even during the lifetime of Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

Nothing of such occurred. My relationship with the late Adeleke was cordial and beyond politics because we had known each other even before Osun politics, because our residences were adjacent to each other in Lagos State.”

He said political office was not by inheritance, saying if it was so, Bola Ige family would have been ruling the state, in reference to Ademola Adeleke, the younger brother of the late Isiaka Adeleke, who wants to replace him at the senate.
